When I'm Sixty-Four: Song By The Beatles
When I was younger, I used to go to my grandma's house every single week. It was something I always looked forward to. Back then, it was just me, my brother, and my sisters just spending time together, playing and making memories. In the shelf at her house, there was this little stuffed bear. It wasn’t just any ordinary bear but, it had a button on it. When you clicked the button on the bear, it would play the song When I'm Sixty-Four by The Beatles.
Every single time I was there, we used to always click the button, and me and my siblings would sing along to it without missing a beat. It became a kind of tradition for us almost. That song has always been special to me in a way I can't fully explain, and even now I can always hear the beat in my head and never seem to lose it, no matter how much time passes. If I ever hear the number 64 mentioned out loud, or even just see the number written somewhere on a sign, a page, or anything it immediately makes me remember the time I spent at my grandma's house during my childhood.
Hearing that song now gives me a feeling that is a mix of happiness and nostalgia, but also a kind of sadness, too. This song has always been deeply impactful on me and remains a key memory of my past that I carry with me.
